I am sorry that I was not so clear. Here is the reply to your questions

 

#Both ends are vSRX and have public IP addresses which they take it through pp0.0 in order to communicate to the internet. Imagine, the one line has VDSL modem/router and the other ADSL modem/router.

 

#I guess you suggesting to ping google ip address in order to check this

 

#Yes you are correct...I get dynamic IPs from that interface (PPPoE)

Does the other wend also have a dynamic ip, if yes the vpn tunnel is not possible as one of the end has to havea static ip.

#There is not traffic between them...not even in phase 1
