If static default route is configured in inet.0, then traffic to internet should be ok.

set routing-options static route 0.0.0.0/0 next-hop 1.1.1.6

Am not sure what you meant by "still not the routes in the virtual-instances".

However, it is also possible to exchange other protocol routes using rib-groups, i.e use rib-group to exchange the static default route to inet.0.
