Hi Alexander,

Thanks for sharing the commands to allow this address but still am having issue.

I allowed the address in inet6.0 rib

[edit routing-options rib inet6.0]
root@srx-2# show
martians {
2001:db8::/32 orlonger allow;
}

Still I am getting the weird result.

root@srx-2# run ping 2001:db8::1
PING6(56=40+8+8 bytes) 2001:db8::254 --> 2001:db8::1
ping: sendmsg: Can't assign requested address
ping6: wrote 2001:db8::1 16 chars, ret=-1
ping: sendmsg: Can't assign requested address
ping6: wrote 2001:db8::1 16 chars, ret=-1
ping: sendmsg: Can't assign requested address
ping6: wrote 2001:db8::1 16 chars, ret=-1
ping: sendmsg: Can't assign requested address
ping6: wrote 2001:db8::1 16 chars, ret=-1
^C
