I am running 15.1X49-D60.7 on my SRX320. I am using dynamic VPN. Once connected via DVPN, I cannot ping any of my internal servers by their hostnames. However, I can ping them with their IP and their FQDN.
This is because the SRX is not passing any DNS suffix to the client. For example:
In previous version of Junos, this was a known limitation (see this KB). Is there any way to get a DNS suffix to work on the SRX320 platform?
