Hi,

 

IMO, every process has its own dedicated tasks and are equally important. It depends on what type of issue, you are experiencing. For example, if it is a routing issue, RPD(routing protocol daemon) becomes the important process. Similarly if you are facing any issues related to chassis or FRUs(field replacement units) or interface creation etc, chassisd(chassis daemon) is the process to look for. If you are observing any issues related to SNMP, then snmpd and mib2d are the processes to look for. You can look for more details about each process here:
