"show system processes extensive" shows the process that are active on your device and it depends on your configuration and services you have enabled. But you should not be worried if your system resources such as CPU/memory are not over utilized. You can use "show chassis routing-engine" command to see the current CPU utilization and if its very high (> 85% ) running "show system processes extensive" will help us to identify if there is any specific process thats over utilizing the CPU. The highly utilized process will be displayed on top of the list.
